Each year, the Illinois FOP Labor Council welcomes a guest speaker to our Annual Meeting to address issues important to our members and the law enforcement community. Past presentations have explored topics including organized labor, developments in labor and employment law, changes affecting policing in Illinois, and other timely issues facing law enforcement professionals. Recognition Award:

The Labor Council Executive Board is accepting nominations for the annual Illinois Fraternal Order of Police Labor Council Recognition Award. The award is intended to honor those law enforcement personnel and criminal justice professionals who have performed their duties with distinction and/or valor. Candidates for the award may be nominated by any Labor Council member, but candidates do not have to be union members to be nominated.
